I just realized that with that last post, I revealed my given name. So I thought I might take this opportunity to explain the business name/alias.

Volante is my mother’s maiden name, and in my opinion is quite badass. So to me it seemed like a good name for the business.

As a child, Enzo was always my favorite name. I thought it was excellent in every way, and, in the way a child does, planned on one day naming my son that, although I never really told anyone that. One day, I mentioned it to my mother, and she informed me that it was actually the name of my grandfather, who I never had the opportunity to meet.

Needless to say, the whole thing means a lot to me, and merited the honor of becoming my business name.

Also, yes I do actually shave my beard into creative designs as my logo suggests. I’ve been doing it since I started high school, so for about 10 years, and it has also become a part of my image and personality.
