edenco: Just a suggestion, if you wann give your Assassin's hoodie a more "assassin" feel you should widen the neck hole of the hoodie or where the hoodie attaches to further along the shoulder and down the back, like if you look at a picture of ezio, the hood isnt like, close to the neckline. not to mention increase the length of the hood, ill post a picture to show you if you need it. ---Your Friendly Neighborhood EdenCo ^~^

I appreciate your feedback, and I totally see where you are coming from. Honestly, I’ve put a lot of thought into the design of my hoods, and will probably keep adjusting them as time goes on. The Auditore hood, for instance, will probably be a bit wider at the base, as a callback to the character design.

At the same time, there is a reason I’ve designed the hoods the way they are. I, like any avid AC fan for whom the games just aren’t enough, like to do some parkour while dressed in assassin gear, with my hood up. I like the wide-base hood look, but at the same time, that design tends to act like a parachute when you are running, and any amount of wind will blow that hood right off your head, which of course is never a problem for Ezio, because he is a game model, and isn’t troubled by wind physics [the lucky bastard].

So I have carefully engineered my hoods to minimize that problem as much as I know how. That is not to say that your hood will never be blown off, just that it is possible to avoid losing your ‘anonymity’ by simply angling your head against any stray breezes.

At the same time I wanted to make sure there was some extra space so that you never feel restricted while wearing your hood. So I had to strike a balance between practical and badass, which is sort of my mission across the board as a clothing designer. In everything I design, I try to maintain that balance of form and function, erring on the side of awesome.
